Verimi konusunda D\u00fcnya&#8217;n\u0131n %20 karpuz ihtiyac\u0131n\u0131 zengin topraklar\u0131m\u0131z kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131yor. \u00dclkemizde Akdeniz, Ege, G\u00fcneydo\u011fu Anadolu ve Marmara b\u00f6lgelerlerinde yayg\u0131n olarak yeti\u015ftirilir. G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde yayg\u0131n olarak hibrit veya standart tohum t\u00fcrleri kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Ortalama olarak \u00fclkemizde sulu 1 dekar alana 700- 1000 aras\u0131 tohum ekilip bunun kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131nda ise 3- 5 ton karpuz elde edilir.
